Services
When we first connect, we will decide how often we will meet depending on your individual needs and goals. Most clients usually begin with weekly or biweekly sessions. Throughout the course of treatment, we can tailor our meeting frequency to whatever we agree is most appropriate for your treatment at any given time.
Both in-office and telehealth services are available.
Your individual insurance determines the number of sessions covered.
Therapy sessions are generally between 53-60 minutes long.

Treatment
My approach to treatment is one that is person-centered, strength-based and trauma informed, blended with evidence-based practices. Listed below are some of the common treatment modalities I use.
Person-centered therapy is all about you – your space, your strength, and your story, focusing on you as the expert of your own life. In our sessions together, I will provide a supportive space for you to share your thoughts and feelings openly and honestly. I will listen with empathy and reflect without judgement. This approach can help you build your self-awareness, confidence, and strength to heal and grow your own way.
Strength-based therapy focuses on what keeps you strong and what got you here today – your values, abilities, skills & resources. Instead of just focusing on your problems, we can work together to identify and build on your inner strengths. With increased confidence, you can see yourself as someone who is resilient and capable of facing challenging times.

Trauma-informed therapy looks at your whole story and recognizes how the trauma you have experienced can impact your thoughts, feelings, and your body in a lasting and significant way. I will hold what you share in a safe and supportive space, with care and compassion. I will not view what you tell me as something that is wrong with you, and instead, something that happened to you. We can work together to help you feel present, grounded, and in control of your healing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) walks you through how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors are connected. You can learn how to identify, challenge and reframe unhelpful patterns of thinking, shifting your mindset, and finding clarity. CBT can give you daily skills to make positive and lasting changes.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps you to build the skills needed to cope with stress, manage emotions, and improve your relationships. In this approach, acceptance and change can co-exist in the same space. I can help you to better manage strong and distressing emotions, validate your feelings without judgements, and respond more effectively. DBT can give you skills to find balance, stability, and resilience.
Psychodynamic therapy allows us to dig deeper into your story, to the roots of your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, exploring and identifying patterns of recurring challenges. Together, we can explore past experiences in supportive and open communication, where you can gain powerful insights into yourself, and create changes that feel authentic and lasting.
